The Indie Games Summer Uprising is a little more than a week away, and while we’ve known for some time what the first 8 games will be, information on the release order has been kept under wraps. The Uprising’s organizers have announced a release schedule for the event, and the floodgates will open with Milkstone’s fantasy platformer, Raventhorne, on August 22.

Monday August 22 – Raventhorne
Tuesday, August 23 – Battle High: San Bruno
Wednesday, August 24 – Cute Things Dying Violently
Thursday, August 25 – T.E.C. 3001
Friday, August 26 – Doom and Destiny
Monday, August 29 – Take Arms
Tuesday, August 30 – SpeedRunner HD
Wednesday, August 31 – Train Frontier Express
Thursday, September 1 – Fan Vote #1
Friday, September 2 – Fan Vote #2

It’s a little strange that Fan Vote and its unimaginatively titled sequel, Fan Vote #2, are coming out on back-to-back days, but we’ve certainly seen wilder things on Xbox Live Indie Games. Oh, right, those are the two yet-to-be decided games that you can vote on right now! The two winners will be revealed during a Twitter developer chat on Tuesday, August 16 at 9 p.m. EST. Fans can ask questions of the organizers and developers by using the hashtag #igsu.

About Mike Wall

Mike grew up and lives near Philadelphia and has been intrigued with games ever since his parents preached that they rotted his brain. He studied journalism at Penn State and got his master's degree in secondary education before realizing that not even summers off would make that job palatable. He now works in marketing and is trying to find time to continue writing a book about zombies, aliens, vampires, the end of the world, and a talking cat.
