Queue up the ‘Happy Birthday’ song and get ready to fork over some royalties: Radiangames JoyJoy turns two years old today. The developer is celebrating its first game’s second birthday by throwing its entire catalog of 15 games on sale across various platforms.
- Ballistic SE, Fireball SE, and Super Crossfire are all $.99 on iOS (normally $2.99).
- Inferno+, Super Crossfire, Ballistic, Slydris, and Fireball are on sale for $1.99 on PC (normally $4.99)
- JoyJoy, Crossfire, Inferno, Fluid, Fireball, Crossfire 2, and Ballistic are on sale for 80 MS points ($1) on Xbox Live Indie Games (normally 400 MS points ($5)).
- The soundtracks to all of the games are also on sale for $.99 (normally $1.99).
The sales will end May 22, but the XBLIG versions will continue to be cheaper for longer because of Microsoft’s archaic policy restricting how often developers can adjust prices. Developer Luke Schneider remarked that they’d be on sale for “probably forever,” which suits us just fine. You may remember that most of the games were originally released at the $1 price point before being bumped up in the Bizarro Sale. If you’re stuck on the fence (seriously, over a $1 game?) check out our reviews of the XBLIG originals: JoyJoy, Crossfire, Crossfire 2, Inferno, Fluid, Ballistic and Fireball.
