Watch the Space Quest Developers Play through the Entire Series

A long, long time ago, on some old-ass computers, space-doo-doo-mopper Roger Wilco ventured across the galaxy for “truth, justice, and really clean floors” in the Space Quest hexalogy. The Space Quest games were known for ridiculous puns, parodies, and being occasionally cryptic and unforgivable. The creators of the game, Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe, have revisited their digital babies and recorded commentaries as they play through all six games. You can check out the videos on their website. Perhaps the duo was looking for inspiration for their upcoming Space Venture game that was recently Kickstarted.

About Mike Wall

Mike grew up and lives near Philadelphia and has been intrigued with games ever since his parents preached that they rotted his brain. He studied journalism at Penn State and got his master's degree in secondary education before realizing that not even summers off would make that job palatable. He now works in marketing and is trying to find time to continue writing a book about zombies, aliens, vampires, the end of the world, and a talking cat.

I really enjoyed playing the Space Quest games back when I was in high school. My first and favorite SQ game was IV:Roger Wilco and the Time Rippers. I also played quite of bit of V and the remake of I, but I never really got into the earlier purely text based games in the SQ series.
