Mike and Dave are out. Doing what you ask? Not helping get the episode out early, that’s for sure. Thrifty Nerd’s Community Manager, John Parie joins Erron and Taylor to spend more time discussing Dungeon Defenders and an extremely truncated list of news items.
Saving the best for last, that’s the way we roll. Mike’s still talking about Outland, Erron beat Oblivion, again, Taylor has still been playing Dungeon Defenders, and Dave has been rocking out to the tunes of Battlefield 3 (PC), Uncharted 3 and Echo Storm.
Dave’s back from NY Comic Con, only with stories of cosplayers, to be honest. There’s stilll good talk to be had, so stick around. Dave’s been playing (and reviewing) Space Channel 5: Part 2 Taylor’s been playing some Witcher 2, and everyone else… Well, you’ll just have to listen (aka, not much).
It was a rough week for podcasting, even rougher than normal, considering the consistent lack of arms. The show had to be recorded twice this week due to technical difficulties and it’s just so much harder to be as funny the second time around. BUT, we still manage to make awesome kraken jokes, not to mention discussing the plethora of leviathans available in Canada.
Another week, another podcast. How tiresome, right? WRONG! Armless Octocast is back again with Taylor, Erron, Dave, and even Mike manages to squeeze in some time. Taylor’s played and talks about Orcs Must Die; Erron’s been doing god knows what; Dave played a decade’s old game; and Mike manages to makes it for half an episode.
“What about 69?”, you ask. Well, we had some mishaps last week, mistakes were made. 69 just had to be forgotten. It’s for the best, I assure you, Erron’s 1.5 hours of sexual inuendos was more than anyone could handle. We had our share of setbacks this week too, Dave Skyped out, but Mike Bachman of Fistful of Pixels was gracious enough to lend us talents for the nights episode. Read on to see what happened this week.
“Part deux?” You ask yourself as you slip on your earbuds and press play for the next episode of the Armless Octocast. Why yes, we did in fact record an episode last week, but someone (no names now), was unable to capture their audio. So we’re calling this Episode 68 Part Deux, although it’s really 69. But who’s counting, right? Besides, there are more interesting things to talk about like zombie games and intercourse with mermaids.

Efforts to keep the episode short are shattered by the realization that as soon as long weekends are available, everyone play as many games as humanly possible. Taylor’s girlfriend aptly names this week’s episode. Talk is good and there are many good new indie games to discuss. Let us not forget that Dave also has things to eat.
