What luck! Clover: A Curious Tale is half price this week

Okay, so its relation to St. Patrick’s Day is dubious at best, and it’s developed by a Brit, but I don’t think anyone can complain about getting something half price. Clover: A Curious Tale is the latest Xbox Live Indie Game to be selected as a Deal of the Week, and it’s been reduced to 200 MS points ($2.50) for the remainder of the week for Xbox Live Gold members in the US. The 2D adventure game unquestionably stands alone as the only politically-fused 2D adventure game with watercolor artwork and allegorical references to the Spanish-American War.

The end is near! Zombie Apocalypse is half price

Four survivors escape in Zombie Apocalypse

Let’s just face it — the zombies are coming.  Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but someday soon you’re going to open your front door to find Ted, your neighbor from down the street who still hasn’t returned your sabre saw, shambling up the driveway salivating over your delicious brain matter.  You can start training for this inevitability and save some dough too, because  Zombie Apocalypse is the XBLA Deal of the Week.  For a mere 400 MS points ($5), you can snag our favorite zombie-survival simulator not named Left 4 Dead.  If movies have taught us anything, it’s that zombies would love to get their filthy zombie paws on your grey matter, so you better start training!

The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai is dirt cheap for just two more days

The Dishwasher is now cheap!

If your sink is overflowing with cruddy dishes and you don’t mind zombie servants, The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai can be yours for a mere $5 an hour or 400 MS points.  James Silva’s gory 2D title is the newest Xbox Live Deal of the Week, but the sale expires this Sunday.  If you haven’t checked out the ultraviolent uber-stylized beat ‘em up yet, this is your chance to do so on the cheap before the anticipated sequel lands sometime in the undefined future.

Zombie Apocalypse gets the deal-of-the-week treatment next week!
